Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS) occur when the ovaries develop multiple cysts. Tendency may be inherited and triggered by hormonal change at puberty. It can cause infertility. Signs include: overweight/obesity, increased facial/body hair, male pattern baldness, acne, oily skin, heavy/irregular periods, failure to ovulate and menstrual abnormalities. It is essential that hormones be rebalanced.
