Nutri People is the home for all qualified nutritional practitioners working in private practice with the general public. We have developed this site to be informative to the general public, promote nutritional healing, and provide an extensive tool enabling them to quickly locate a qualified practitioner in their local area, searching by county or by post code.

Our search database is currently queried over 215 times per day; since January 2006 over 157,000 potential clients have used Nutri People to locate a nutritional practitioner. We are confident that no other advertising medium delivers such excellent results for such little investment.

In addition to the public search facility we have a private members area accessible only to registered practitioners who meet the necessary criteria. Here you will find some of the best research tools available on the internet which we have gathered centrally on this web site, providing a one stop shop for all your research needs. 

These include Healthnotes Clinical Essentials, which deliver in depth nutritional information at your finger tips and an excellent extension to your practice, whether you print off the information for a client or just research specific problems.  We also have Arbor Clinical Nutrition Updates, which is the world's most widely read electronic nutrition publication for health professionals, summarising the latest nutrition research.  Our most recent addition is full access to the BMJ Online web site; the BMJ is the world's most influential and widely read medical journal. 

 With Clinical Essentials, BMJ Online and Arbor Clinical Nutrition Updates, we are able to provide each member with £170 worth of research tools per year at no extra cost.

Who Can Join ?

Nutritional therapists:
If you are a registered Nutritional Therapist you must supply full details of your qualifications within the online registration form. This must include your BANT registration number for your application to be approved. 

Registered Dietitians:
If you are a state registered dietitian working in private practice, you must supply full details of your qualifications within the online registration form. This must include your HPC registration number before your application is approved.

Nutritionists:
If you are a member of The Nutrition Society and have Registered Public Health Nutritionist membership (RPHNutr ) you must supply full details of your qualifications within the online registration form. This must include your Nutrition Society registration number before your application is approved.

Students:
The student membership programme has been developed to help our up and coming practitioners with their revision and research by providing full access to the members section of the site. However, students will not be listed in the public search tool until they qualify and join one of the approved associations above. Please check with your college or university to see if they have signed up to our Nutri People Student Membership Scheme before applying online. Student membership is totally free for the term of your education.

How much does it cost  

For qualified practitioners who are joining Nutri People for the first time, membership for the first three months is completely free, which includes the registration of your details and one practice. Once approved this practice is immediately available in the search tool for the general public to locate you. If you wish to list more than one practice with us, or you renew after the three month free membership, then there are additional charges as follows.

For free student members upgrading to Practitioner membership, standard annual charges are applicable immediately.  

For each practice you list with us, you can have this upgraded to a BOLD listing. BOLD listings are highlighted in the public search tool and also come top of the search results making them more visible to potential clients. You can select a BOLD listing for all, some, or none of your practices but each one is charged at the rates above.
