Nutrient - Lactobacillus plantarum

By Nutri People

L. plantarum is a natural resident of the gastro-intestinal tract and can attach to its lining. It helps support balanced vaginal and gut flora. In the gut, L. plantarum helps make a natural antibiotic called ‘lactolin’ and the amino acid L-lysine. It helps minimise wind, by breaking down plant foods, and helps break down undigested protein in the bowel.
