Nutrient - PABA

(Para-Aminobenzoic Acid)

By Nutri People

Whilst it is not a true vitamin, PABA is closely related to the B vitamin complex. PABA occurs as part of the make-up of folic acid. Gut bacteria can make folic acid from PABA. It helps in the breakdown and use of protein, helps make red blood cells and may help make better use of vitamin B5. It also plays a role in determining hair colour and in skin and gut health.
