Cranberry’s shiny red berries are packed with vitamin C, minerals and bioflavonoids. These include anthocyanidins - pigments that give the berries their rich red colour - quercetin, flavonols and antioxidant proanthocyanidins, which help protect fragile fats against oxidation (rancidity). Cranberry helps regulate the acidity of urine, thereby supporting a healthy bladder and urinary system. It balances body water and cholesterol levels, especially ‘good’ HDL. It also helps maintain healthy gums and teeth, supports a healthy immune system and regulates histamine levels.
