The fruits of the wild rose are called 'hips' and are picked in the autumn when ripe. Being an excellent source of Vitamin C and bioflavonoids, rosehips were traditionally used to support the immune system and gum health. Rosehips are also known to help maintain healthy collagen, to support healthy gall bladder function and promote urine flow through the kidneys. Wild rose oil is extracted from rosehip seeds and contains Vitamin C and omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It helps moisturise skin, has powerful skin regeneration properties, supports skin elasticity and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, for smoother, younger-looking skin. Suitable for dry, flaky or problem skin.
