By Nutri People
GLA is an omega 6 fatty acid found in starflower (borage) oil, evening primrose oil, blackcurrant seed oil and other vegetable oils. It is also converted in the body from LA (linoleic acid), an omega 6 essential fatty acid. It supports healthy hormonal function, heart and arteries and immunity. LA cannot be made by the body, so it must be present in the diet.
