Molybdenum is concentrated in the kidneys, adrenal glands, liver, bones and skin. It works closely with copper and forms part of the enzymes that break down sulphur, detoxify alcohol and make uric acid (waste product removed by the kidneys). It may enhance fluoride’s role in teeth health. Low levels may lead to increased sensitivity to sulphites (food preservatives).
It is depleted in processed foods.
