Sesame is an ancient crop, grown in the tropics. Its seeds are high in the polyunsaturated oil, linoleic acid. Sesame seeds are a good source of protein, fibre, minerals; especially calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium; and some vitamins. They help support healthy bowel movement and balanced cholesterol levels.
