Recipes - Pomegranate Balsamic Salmon

Pomegranate Balsamic Salmon



  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1⁄2 cup Omega Excellence Cold Pressed Walnut Oil
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Omega Excellence Wild Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1⁄2 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar  
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 11⁄2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt



  1. In a large bowl, make marinade with the walnut oil, soy sauce, vinegar, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil and salt. Mix well, then add the salmon. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours.
  2. Oil and preheat a grill pan on a medium-high heat. Grill the salmon for about 5 minutes per side, until fish flakes with a fork.
  3. Serve warm with cauliflower and sautéed spinach.
